Barcelona are ready to sell Ronald Araujo in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that the La Liga club want €60 million in transfer fees for 26-year-old Uruguay international, who can play as a centre-forward or as a right-back.
The report has claimed that not only have the Barcelona board decided to offload Araujo, but the Spanish champions’ manager Hansi Flick is also for the idea. Barcelona need to lower their wage bill and believe that Araujo is a good candidate to get rid of.
Araujo himself is said to be calm about his situation and will evaluate any proposals that he gets. Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are the three clubs that are keen on a summer deal for the Uruguayan star, who has scored 10 goals and given seven assists in 175 appearances for Barcelona so far in his career.
