Liverpool are planning a huge bid for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Premier League champions are ready to pay close to €120million ofr the Sweden international.
Isak is one of the best strikers in the world and has been in fine form for Newcastle since making the switch to St. James’ Park from Real Sociedad in 2022. The 25-year-old has scored 62 goals and given 11 assists in 109 appearances for Newcastle so far in his career. Isak scored for Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley Stadium in London last season. The Magpies will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in the Premier League top five.
Liverpool have signed Netherlands international right wing-back Jeremie Frimpong and Germany international attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. Hungary international left-back Milos Kerkez is also set to undergo a medical with Liverpool this week and will move from Bournemouth.
