Liverpool target Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku

Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing Christopher Nkunku from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to TuttoJuve. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Newcastle United and Juventus are also keen on the 27-year-old forward.

Nkunku could leave Chelsea this summer. The 27-year-old has made nine starts and 18 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Blues this season, scoring three goals and giving two assists in the process. The forward has been at the London club since 2023 when he joined from RB Leipzig.

Chelsea are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 66 points from 37 matches. Enzo Maresca’s side are level on points with sixth-placed Aston Villa fourth-placed Newcastle United. The Blues will take on Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday before facing Real Betis in the final of the UEFA Conference League this coming Wednesday.
