While now-former Manchester City icon Kevin De Bruyne might have completed a move to Napoli this month, there are a number of other Premier League superstars who are officially set to become free agents next week.

Although the likes of Liverpool might have officially announced Florian Wirtz’s arrival in what was a record-breaking £116million move, there are more than a handful of bargains that are available this summer.

With many Premier League aces out of contract and available on a free transfer on July 1st, we have taken a look at the top-flight players who are waiting by the phone for a new adventure.

Thomas Partey – Arsenal

While Mikel Arteta might have publicly stated that he wanted Thomas Partey to extend his stay in north London, the Arsenal hierarchy have finally accepted that the Ghanian international will be leaving the Emirates on a free transfer.

Despite their best attempts, both parties have failed to agree on a new deal and it was confirmed this week that the former Atletico Madrid star will be leaving the Premier League.

Arriving at the Emirates back in 2020 for a reported fee in the region of £45million, Partey has become a real fan favourite around the red half of north London.

With Arsenal now in talks over a potential move for Brentford skipper Christian Norgaard, the Gunners have officially given up their pursuit of luring the 53-cap international into signing a new deal.

Making 35 Premier League appearances for Arteta’s side last season, Partey is attracting plenty of interest from the globe and it has been suggested that both AC Milan and Fenerbahce have already reached out to the 32-year-old’s representatives.

Victor Lindelof – Manchester United

Breaking a string of unwanted records last season as they slumped to an infamous 15th-place finish among England’s elite, both Manchester United and Ruben Amorim have a huge amount of pressure on their shoulders this summer.

While the Red Devils might have officially announced the arrival of Wolves talisman Matheus Cunha this month, we are expecting a hectic summer behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

Alongside confirming that both Johnny Evans and ex-Tottenham star Christian Eriksen will be leaving Manchester this summer, Victor Lindelof is also saying goodbye to Old Trafford after an eight-year stint.

Arriving from Benfica back in the summer of 2017, the Swedish international made 284 appearances and won the FA Cup and a League Cup winners’ medals during his time at the club.

While Lindeolf might have stressed that he is in no rush to make a decision on his next move, the 30-year-old has been linked with a potential Premier League lifeline amidst reported interest from the likes of West Ham and Everton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Everton

While Everton might be officially completing their long-awaited move to their new home this summer, it appears that one of their most recognisable first-team stars will not be travelling across Stanley Park.

With both parties failing to agree on a new deal following extensive discussions behind the scenes, Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks set to be ending his nine-year spell at Goodison Park.

Arriving from Sheffield United back in August 2016, the 28-year-old earned four senior England caps during his tenure and leaves Goodison Park having made 239 Premier League appearances.

While Calvert-Lewin might have only scored more than 10 goals in just two of his seasons on Merseyside, he is once again attracting plenty of Premier League interest and looks set to extend his stay among England’s elite.

Looking to mount a shock late charge for Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad ahead of next summer, top-flight returners Leeds are the latest club to be linked with a potential free swoop for Everton’s third all-time Premier League goalscorer.

Jamie Vardy – Leicester City

With many regarding Jamie Vardy as the most successful player in Leicester’s history since arriving at the club way back in 2012, it almost felt that the 38-year-old would be at the King Power in some capacity for the rest of time.

However, while many might have expected the former England international to stay put in Leicestershire and spearhead the Foxes’ charge for an immediate Premier League return, Vardy announced an emotional bombshell back in April.

Publicly stating that he would be leaving the club following an iconic 13-year stint, it has also been heavily suggested that Leicester’s record-breaking talisman is solely focused on extending his stay among England’s elite.

Leading the Foxes to their historic Premier League title success back in 2016, Vardy also lifted the FA Cup at Wembley four years ago thanks to a famous 1-0 victory against Chelsea.

Becoming the club’s all-time record goalscorer with 143 Premier League goals, the veteran striker also registered 198 strikes in 498 appearances across all competitions.
