Napoli are interested in signing Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to TuttoJuve. The report in the Italian news outlet has revealed that Napoli are ‘a possible destination’ for Zirkzee.
It has been claimed that Napoli head coach Antonio Conte is personally involved in the transfer. The former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager is ‘the main engine of the operation’, who has failed to establish himself in the Man United first team.
Zirkzee joined Man United from Bologna in the summer of 2024. The 23-year-old forward has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 48 matches in all competitions for the Red Devils this campaign. Man United are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 39 points from 35 games. Meanwhile, Napoli currently find themselves at the top of the Serie A table with 77 points from 35 matches, three points clear of second-placed Inter Milan.
