While Ange Postecoglou might have guided Tottenham to a first piece of silverware in 17 years last month as Spurs were crowned Europa League champions, that result wasn’t enough to help the ex-Celtic boss keep hold of his job in north London.

Removed from the hot seat after slumping to an infamous 17th-place finish last season, Tottenham were quick to announce an immediate successor.

With a lucrative Champions League return on the cards for next year, Thomas Frank was officially announced as Postecoglou’s replacement and became Spurs’ fourth permanent manager since 2021.

Facing what is a crucial summer behind the scenes in north London and with it reported that the former Brentford boss will be heavily backed, Tottenham have already announced Mathys Tel return on a permanent basis following a £30million deal with Bayern Munich.

With Frank more than aware of the job he has on his hands after arriving from across the capital, we have taken a look at the Premier League stars that could follow the Danish tactician to N17.

Bryan Mbeumo – Brentford

While Frank might have only arrived from Brentford last week, it appears that the ex-Bees manager is already planning a heavyweight raid of his former employers.

Shortlisted for the Premier League’s Player of the Season award and embarking on another sensational campaign among England’s elite, Bryan Mbeumo has become one of this summer’s most sort after attacking stars.

Bagging 20 Premier League goals, only the trio of Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland recorded more top-flight strikes.

While it might have been reported earlier in the month that Manchester United are sat in the driving seat to snap up the 25-year-old, Tottenham have thrown their hat in the ring and Frank is desperate for a reunion with his former marksman.

Relishing life under Frank’s guidance after being recruited by the Danish boss back in 2019 after arriving from French outfit Troyes, it has been suggested that Mbeumo is intrigued by a move across the capital.

With Spurs able to offer Champions League football, Brentford reportedly value their striking talisman in the region of £60million and have already accepted that Mbuemo will be allowed to leave west London this summer.

Antoine Semenyo – Bournemouth

If Frank is unable to convince Mbeumo to complete a heavyweight reunion this summer, it has been suggested that Tottenham have already identified a potential alternative attacking option.

While Bournemouth might have eventually fallen short in the race to book a maiden European adventure last season, the Cherries did gain plenty of plaudits for their free-flowing approach under Andoni Iraola.

Registering 20 direct Premier League goal contributions, Antoine Semenyo finds his stock at a red-hot high and has been heavily linked with a big-money move away from the Vitality this summer.

Able to play across the whole front line and gaining a reputation for his versatility, the former Bristol City starlet is reportedly valued in the region of £70million by Bournemouth.

However, while Iraola might have made it clear that he is keen on keeping hold of the Ghanian international ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, it has been suggested that Semenyo is open to a potential switch.

With Frank reportedly a huge admirer of the 25-year-old, it has also been suggested that both Manchester United and Newcastle have made their intentions clear.

Jarrad Branthwaite – Everton

Shipping 65 Premier League goals last season as they slumped to that infamous 17th-place finish, a huge part of Tottenham’s record-breaking rut last season was down to their glaring defensive issues.

With the likes of Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie all dealing with respective injury issues, one of Frank’s priority in north London with be finding some crucial defensive steel.

With only one club outside the relegated trio conceding more Premier League goals last season, a new central defender appears to be high on Frank’s summer wishlist.

Watching Everton eventually cruise their way to Premier League safety following David Moyes’ emotional return to Goodison Park, Jarrad Branthwaite has only further underlined his status as one of England’s most sort after defensive starlets.

Making his full England senior debut last season, the 22-year-old made 30 Premier League appearances for the Toffees and has even be linked with a sensational move to Spanish icons Real Madrid.

With Everton reportedly dealing with some financial issues, it has been suggested that Tottenham are interested in testing their resolve over a potential move for the ex-Blackburn youngster.
